The quarterback position for the Cleveland Browns is up in the air, after starter Josh McCown suffered a collarbone injury during the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night.
McCown left the game in the fourth quarterback, and is expected to undergo X-rays this week.
Austin Davis took over for McCown and threw a game-tying touchdown pass with 1:47 left. He took the Browns in position to kick a winning field goal on the last play of the game, but the kick was blocked and returned by the Ravens for the winning score.
The Browns lost 33-27.
Coach Mike Pettine has declined to say whether Davis or Johnny Manziel would start if McCown can’t.
Manziel did not play Monday, because he was demoted to third string after a video of him partying at an Austin, Texas, bar surfaced online during the team’s bye week. He also reportedly lied to coaches about when it was filmed.
