Nostalgia’s in full effect with Reebok’s latest Question Low retro.
The year was 1996: Dolly the sheep became the first successfully cloned mammal, Tupac still graced the planet with his presence, and Allen Iverson just became the first pick in the NBA Draft. Reebok quickly locked an endorsement with the then rookie, giving Iverson his own signature shoe: The Question.
A.I. would soon go on to prove doubting critics wrong by becoming Rookie of the Year in 1996, and his legacy would eventually encompass a storied 12 NBA seasons and 11 All-Star appearances.
Performance
The Reebok Question Low is a medium weight basketball shoe, with a low enough profile to ensure maximum mobility and broken ankles for anyone trying to take you on one-on-one. The iconic shoe incorporates Reebok’s signature Hexalite cushioning system, providing for a generous amount of comfort. An iced-out bottom provides a sturdy foundation to accelerate off of, while supporting the sole and heel of the foot.
Details
Reebok doesn’t overlook a single thread with special attention being incorporated into the retro. The shoe’s full-grain leather upper and premium nubuck toe cap scream quality and serve as a homage to a time when quality triumphed over hype.
