After re-joining the Lakers on a non-guaranteed contract last month, Metta World Peace has earned a spot on Los Angeles’ roster.
According to ESPN, the Lakers cut Jabari Brown on Monday (Oct. 26), trimming their roster to 15 players ahead of Wednesday’s season opener against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
World Peace returns to the Lakers, two seasons after the team waived him with the salary cap amnesty clause.
He helped the Lakers win the 2010 NBA title, when he was known as Ron Artest.
World Peace played in China and Italy last season.
