Apple made its big reveal on Wednesday (September 9) of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus, the most advanced iPhones yet.
The latest upgrade introduces 3D Touch, an aspect that senses force of your touch to enable intuitive new ways to access features and interact with content. If you press lightly, you can Peek at a photo, email, web page or other content. Press a little deeper to Pop into the content itself.
Furthermore, the new iPhones include Retina HD displays, which are made from the strongest glass on any smartphone, along with 7000 series aluminum, in metallic finishes that now include rose gold.
Live Photos are also introduces, which bring still images to life by capturing a moment in motion. High-definition video is improved with support for 4K … with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, delivering over 8 million pixels. Optical image stabilization is now expanded to video on iPhone 6s Plus, for taking videos in lower light.
Additional camera upgrades include a new state-of-the-art 12-megapixel sensor with advanced pixel technology and Apple-designed image signal processor; and a new 5-megapixel FaceTime HD camera and Retina Flash.
iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will be available in gold, silver, space gray and the new rose gold finishes for $0 down with 24 monthly payments starting at $27 USD and $31 USD, respectively, from Apple’s retail stores, Apple.com, select carriers.
