Celebrities endorse everything from sneakers to name brands, but New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is using his image to sell hot sauce.
Gronk’s Hot Sauce is being released through PLB Sports, a company that produces licensed food products with sports personalities.
“He’s just got that personality that just makes you stop,” PLB Sports account manager Doug Ritchart tells ESPN.
The hot sauce will retail for around $4 USD and available online and in retailers such as Stop & Shop and Big Y supermarkets in New England.
Over the past three years, PLB Sports has sold more than 130,000 boxes of Gronk Flakes.
A portion of the proceeds will go to Gronkowski’s charity, the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation.
