If you enjoyed Macklemore’s video for his new single “Downtown” this week, then you probably noticed a few cameos… including one for Ken Griffey Jr.
The retired pro-baseball star was enlisted by the Seattle rapper to recreate his once-red hot 1989 rookie card photo.
During his career, Griffey hit 630 home runs, 13 years of which were spent with the hometown Mariners. He’s now set to be on the Hall of Fame ballot for the first time in 2016.
Check out Griffey’s appearance in Macklemore’s video below… at around the 1:43 mark.
