Following the tragic death of New York rap vet Sean Price earlier this month, his label Duck Down Music launched a crowdfunding campaign benefiting his family.
Stepping up was Eminem and his Shady Records, who recently donated $10,000 to the fundraiser.
“I swear I just told Marshall (Eminem) on Thursday that Sean was my current favorite,” Eminem’s longtime manager, Paul Rosenberg, said. “I hung on every word in his verses.”
Launched on CrowdRise, in the wake of Price’s death, the fundraiser has brought in more than $86,000 as of press time.
Price died in his sleep on August 8. He is survived by his wife and three children.
