Sean Price, Of Heltah Skeltah, Dead At 43

Brooklyn rap vet Sean Price has reportedly passed away.

While details of his death are currently unknown, his publicist confirmed his death with We’re hearing he died in his sleep. He was just 43 years old.

“It is with beyond a heavy heart that Duck Down Music is sadly confirming that Sean Price passed away early this morning in his Brooklyn apartment, Saturday, August 8th, 2015,”Β read a statement from his reps. “The cause of death is currently unknown, but it was reported that he died in his sleep. He’s survived by his wife, and his three children.”

Price has been in the game since the mid-1990s, performing as a member of the Boot Camp Clik and one half of the duo Heltah Skeltah, alongside partner Rock.

In addition to group efforts, he released a number of solo projects, including 2012’s Mic Tyson.
