Converse unveiled its all-new Chuck Taylor All Star II this week, a refreshed version of the iconic shoe.
It retains the original shape and style, but with updated technologies. For the first time, the shoe is equipped with Nike’s Lunarlon technology, allowing for full foot cushioning and arch support. It also features a faoam padded collar and non-slip gusseted tongue for 360-degree comfort; and a perforated micro suede liner, for breathability.
The Chuck Taylor II is constructed of durable premium canvas, while other details include a fully-embroidered All Star patch, on-trend high foxing and monochrome matte eyelets.
Since its debut in 1917, the Chuck Taylor All Star has become one of the world’s most celebrated sneakers. Now, the beloved classic receives an innovative refresh, with enhancements and modern comfort solutions in a premium execution.
The Fall 2015 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II drops July 28 in Black, White, Red and Blue colorways. And, will be available at Converse.com and Converse retailers for $70 USD for the low-top and $75 USD for the hi-top.
