The late Tupac Shakur is considered a musical legend. He's impacted the lives of many, including some of your favorite rappers... Eminem being one of them.

The Detroit rap star once penned a letter and illustration that he sent to Pac's mom, Afeni Shakur, which recently surfaced on Reddit.

According to thread, the the handwritten note appears in the 2007 book, Tupac Remembered, where Em thanks Afeni for opportunities she gave him in the past, while expressing how much her son inspired his career.

It's unclear, however, when Em penned the note and drawing.

"You have no idea how much your son and his music has inspired not only the 'hip-hop' world, but speaking for myself, has inspired my whole career," he writes. "He was, and still is, the true definition of a 'Soldier.' When I was feeling at my worst (before fame, before Dre) I knew I could put that Tupac tape in, and suddenly, things weren't so bad."

Eminem also sketched a drawing of Pac, which is signs with: "To Afeni, Your friend 4-ever! Marshall."

The letter and sketch are on display at the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for the Arts in Stone Mountain, Ga.
