Talk about living in excess. A land developer is currently building one of the biggest homes in U.S. history on a Los Angeles hilltop. The asking price? $500 million.

Nile Niami, who is a film producer and speculative residential developer, is currently pouring the concrete for the Bel Air compound, which boasts a 74,000-square-foot main residence and three smaller homes, reports Bloomberg.

The project will take at least 20 more months to complete, and will exceed 100,000 square feet -- including a 5,000-square-foot master bedroom, a 30-car garage and a "Monaco-style casino". However, all we have is these renderings for an idea of what the completed estate will look like.

Other features include four swimming pools, one of which is a 180-foot infinity pool.
