Here’s a first look at Volkswagen’s concept from the 2015 Wörthersee Tour — the 395hp Golf GTE Sport plug-in-hybrid.

The concept is mostly made of carbon and is run by three engines, that combined have a 400PS output — a 1.6 litre petrol engine produced 295hp, while the two extra electric engines each produce 114hp. It can run on electric power alone for 50 km, and all three engines in the sporty GTI mode.

And finally, as you can see, the Golf has swing up doors and a completely revamped racing cockpit.
