In anticipation of Jay-Z’s historic B-Sides concert series in NYC this week, Los Angeles graphic designer John Qudoe Lee rebranded the Grammy Museum for a conceptual Jay-Z exhibit titled “Show No Marcy”.
He created a space that celebrates the last 20 years of Jay-Z’s career through graphic design, spatial design, as well as merchandise.
The posters and other print collateral are composed by iconic pieces and fashion trends started by Hov. The spatial design uses an interactive platform where the audience is able to revisit the era through rare footage to when each of his 12 respective solo albums were made.
Various pieces of merchandise, such as a clock, book, or greatest hits vinyl, are also used to support and enhance the visitors’ experience.
