The Philadelphia 76ers unveiled its new logos and brand identity on Tuesday (May 12), including similar, but redesigned primary and secondary logos.
Effective immediately, the logo set looks like a modernized interpretation of the classic Sixers insignia.
Redeveloped with a patriotic blue border with six white stars and “PHILADELPHIA” adorned across the heading. The familiar white basketball is visually updated, with 13 stars present in the primary, partial and secondary logos, which represents the original American Colonies.
A secondary mark is a stylized Ben Franklin, dressed in Sixers colors, while dribbling a basketball.
The logos will debut on Sixers uniforms on June 18 at a public event in Philadelphia.
