Waka Flocka Flame was planning a string of tour dates in Australian and New Zealand, but it seems he’s been denied entry into the country.
The Atlanta rapper was scheduled for dates in the country later this month, but due to his rap sheet, the Australian Government Department of Immigration and Border Protection denied his request to enter.
The tour’s promoter, Robin Fernando, recently announced via Facebook that the tour will be postponed and ticket-holders will be reimbursed.
“While a VISA into New Zealand had been approved, the Australian situation means that Waka Flocka’s tour to this part of the world will no longer take place at this time, and will be rescheduled for later in the year,” he wrote.
Those who purchased tickets will be refunded, and according to the post, “receive prior notification of Waka Flocka’s new tour dates and guaranteed presale tickets for the new shows.”
At press time, it’s unclear when, or if, Waka will schedule a new tour down under.
