While fans continue to digest Avengers: Age Of Ultron, details about the next installment of films are revealed.
According to Variety, both Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Part 2 will be shot entirely with IMAX cameras.
Directors will use a new 2D digital camera, produced by Imax and Arri. It’s more lightweight than IMAX’s film cameras.
By doing so, the Russos are first to use the 2D camera and plan to shoot 15 minutes of footage for the upcoming Captain America: Civil War with the new technology.
Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 is due out May 2018, with Part 2 coming a year later, in May 2019.
