Adidas has partnered with Spotify to launch its new Adidas Go app, to help runners match their favorite music to their workout.
A runner can use iPhone’s accelerometer with Adidas Go to calculate their stride rate to identify and play tracks with matching bpm from Spotify’s music library. Users can also review and save their distance, time and pace and shared the results on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
“adidas go lets your energy level control the music that plays during your run, so you’re always in control. For the first time, instead of runners listening to music, music will listen to runners,” says Adrian Leek, General Manager of adidas Running.
Adidas Go will be available on the App Store on May 10. Read more about it here.
