Jay Z’s TIDAL App Falls Out Of Top 700 iPhone Apps Chart

Despite the massive star power behind it, Jay Z’s new streaming service TIDAL isn’t faring so well in the App Store.

Following the star-studded launch in late March — which included a press conference with superstars like Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Kanye West and Dead Mau5 — the TIDAL app broke the U.S. iPhone top 20 chart.

Since then, just two weeks later, it’s fallen out of the top 700, cementing what many are calling a spectacular flop, reports BGR.

While TIDAL free falls, its rivals seem to be surging. On April 20th, both Pandora and Spotify held the No. 3 and No. 4 spots on the U.S. revenue chart, respectively. Furthermore, it was the first time two music streaming services have hit the top 4 in sales simultaneously.

Apple’s Beats Music is also in the Top 20 of the chart as well.
