DJ Skee and the Los Angeles Film School announced this week a new partnership, which will allow graduates the opportunity to join the production of his new SKEE TV show on Fuse.
The new season of SKEE TV will premiere April 9, and will be filmed from a dedicated set at The Los Angeles Film School’s prestigious 6353 Sunset Blvd location, within its recently renovated historic Ivar Theatre venue in Hollywood, Calif.
Additionally, current students will have the opportunity to watch the live musical performances that will be filmed on campus.
“We see a huge opportunity to empower this next generation of young creatives, something we at SKEE have always been very passionate about,” said Skee, real name Scott Keeney. “Second, we see this as our time to build a Times Square West marquee studio at the intersection of Sunset & Vine, where cultures collide. The Los Angeles Film School is the perfect partner. They have always been an important entry point for thousands of young creatives and aspiring professionals to get a start in the industry. Now, together, we can bridge the gap between traditional job placements and entrepreneurial spirit while bringing the biggest names in music, and entertainment to the school.”
The relationship between DJ Skee and The Los Angeles Film School is centered on providing the school’s students more opportunities to gain hands-on exposure to real-world productions.
SKEE TV is just the first of further joint initiatives, set to be unveiled later this year.
