By Staff  |  03/26/2015

Eazy-E passed away 20 years ago today, so the team at HipHopDX spoke to a number of industry vets to recall their memories of the late rap legend.

In this clip, DJ Quik, Krayzie Bone, DJ Speed, David Faustino, and Steve Lobel remember who many consider "The Godfather Of Gangsta Rap."

Eazy-E died on March 26, 1995, from complications related to the AID virus. He was one of the founding members of N.W.A., which also included Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren, and Arabian Prince. The rapper also co-founded Ruthless Records with Jerry Heller, which sold millions of records during its existence, and launched the career of legendary group, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
