Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin was charged with battery last November, but had the charged dropped due to a lack of evidence this week.
According to reports, prosecutors dropped the a misdemeanor case in court on Tuesday (March 24), because new information obtained since the incident made it clear that the allegations couldn’t be proven.
The 27-year-old NBA star didn’t appear in court… and a telephone call to the accuser, Daniel Schuman of West Hollywood, California, went unanswered.
In October, Griffin was partying inside a Las Vegas nightclub, when he became upset over camera flashes in his face. He then grabbed Schuman’s phone, who wouldn’t let go, so he grabbed his neck and allegedly slapped him.
