In a recent episode of “Noisey Atlanta”, Rich Homie Quan called Young Thug his “best friend,” but Thugger doesn’t feel the same.
During a stop on his “Rodeo Tour” with Travi$ Scott, Young Thug took it upon himself to call out his former Rich Gang brother, referring to him as “Bitch Homie Quan,” presumably over his decision to leave the Birdman-formed clique.
During an interview with Drea O at SXSW this past week, Quan addressed Thug’s comments, simply brushing it off by saying: “It is what is it.”
“I don’t know,” he said. “At the same time, I wish Thugga the best… the best success. We gonna leave it at that.”
As far as his decision to step away from Birdman’s Rich Gang crew, the rapper/singer said people are taking it the wrong way.
“When I said it, people just blew is out of proportion. I never said I wasn’t gonna do the Rich Gang thing, I said I was just gonna focus more on myself a little bit more,” Quan explained. “Rich Gang is like my family. Birdman, that’s my homie. Everybody know that. I never said I was gonna stop f*cking with them, I just wanna start focusing on myself a little bit more.”
