A fan learned a big lesson on Saturday (March 21): Don’t mock Lil Wayne.

According to, one of the rapper’s security viciously attacked a fan who mocked Weezy with his iPhone … and they caught on video.

Wayne was scheduled perform at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale, FL on Saturday, but the audience became agitated when he showed up at 3:30 AM. According to the report, one fan used his iPhone to show off a scrolling message to the stage. Before Weezy arrived, the message said “Shut the f*ck up and put on Weezy”. Later, it just read “F*ck Weezy.”

According to the New Times Broward-Palm Beach, Wayne pointed out the fan to one of his security guards, who was then sent to confront him.

As you can see in the video, he walks through the crowd, finds the guy and just starts swinging, essentially knocking him to the ground.

It’s unclear how badly he was injured, but security did carry him out of the club.
