Floyd Mayweather finally signed on the dotted line to fight Manny Pacquiao in late February… and he did so in the most Mayweather way possible.
According to TMZ.com, the boxing star signed the contract using an 18 karat gold pen, worth $4,000. It’s called the Peerless 125 by Cross — the number signifying amount of pens made — and is one of the most expensive pens in the world.
Mayweather is among a long list of “noble” clients who use Cross pens, alongside Oprah and President Obama, who has used the same pen to sign official documents.
Furthermore, Floyd retired the pen after he signed contract, saying it’s now “a part of history.”
