The smell of a Burger King Whopper may be mouth watering, but what about smelling like one?
Burger King Japan is set to release a Whopper-scented fragrance for one day only, on April 1.
According to Huffington Post, the fragrance will be called “Flame Grilled”, and will be available on the inaugural Whopper Day, a day the fast food chain envisions Whopper lovers celebrating their favorite burger by dousing themselves with its scent, and eating one, too.
Each purchase of the Flamed Grilled fragrance comes with a Whopper. It will cost 5,000 yen, or roughly $4 USD.
Since it will be released on April Fool’s day, some wonder if it’s all a hoax. If it is real, this wouldn’t be BK’s first time releasing a perfume. Back in 2008, Burger King released “Flame by BK,” a body spray for men described as “the scent of seduction with a hint of flame-broiled meat.”
