Vans Syndicate collaborates with skater Harmony Korine on a two-pack sneaker capsule, featuring the Authentic Pro “S” and Slip-On Pro “S” models.
Harmony gained fame as the teenage writer of the controversial HIV-era cult classic film Kids, set among the burgeoning mid-’90s New York skate scene in which he was immersed at the time. Today, he continues to write, direct and produce a growing body of influential films, books and other art works.
In his collab with Vans Syndicate, he created the custom checkerboard print pattern that is utilized on the side panel of both sneakers — one in pink and another in black. His artwork is also added to the footbeds of the shoes, available in canvas and suede.
The Vans Syndicate x Harmony Korine project launches March 21, exclusively at authorized Vans Syndicate dealers.
