Adding to his MVP campaign, James Harden scorched the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night (March 19) for a career-high of 50 points, en route to a 118-108 win.
The 25-year-old NBA star shot 12-27 from the field, while capitalizing on 4 three pointers.
Even though his shooting proved to be too much for the Nuggets squad, it was also his ability to get to the free throw line that allowed him to having such a huge scoring night. Harden cashed in 22 free throws on 25 attempts.
Additionally, he also grabbed 10 rebounds and dished out 4 assists to add on to his stat line.
Harden is currently one of the leading candidates for this year’s MVP award. He’s averaging 26.7 points, 7 assists and 5.8 rebounds on the season; and has helped his Houston Rockets, who are sitting 3rd in the Western Conference, with a 46-22 record.
