Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young may been out of the rest of the season with a small fracture in his left knee cap, the team announced on Wednesday (March 18).

According to ESPN, his knee is expected to heal on its own with rest, but it's unclear if he'll play again this season.

The 29-year-old has missed the Lakers' last 11 games with a swollen left knee, last playing on Feb. 22 when Los Angeles beat the Boston Celtics.

Young is averaging 13.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 23.8 minutes during 42 games this season.
