Kanye becomes the second hip-hop act ever to headline the festival, following Jay Z’s appearance in 2008. Previous headliners include Beyoncé, Coldplay, U2, Paul McCartney, and The Rolling Stones.
In addition to Kanye, the Foo Fighters will headline Friday and Lionel Richie and the Dalai Lama will appear on Sunday.
The full 2015 lineup will be announced later this spring.
