While Kendrick Lamar has everyone’s attention with the impending release of his To Pimp A Butterfly album, fans are left wondering the status of his labelmate Jay Rock’s long-awaited project.

The Watts rapper dropped debut album, Follow Me Home, in 2011. Since then, he’s been hard at work on his second… which is finally nearing completion.

TDE label head, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, said Jay Rock’s still untitled sophomore album would follow Ab-Soul’s These Days… in 2014. But since then, further news has been sparse.

Tiffith took to Twitter on Saturday to give fans an update, saying the album is “coming…”
