Kanye West

Uh oh... was Kanye West's personal laptop recently stolen?

According to reports, G.O.O.D. Music artist Malik Yusef recently tweeted the news that Ye's computer was stolen sometime while he was in Paris.

"We have the PRIVATE INVESTIGATION FIRMS ON TOP OF @kanyewest stolen LAPTOP!!!!!" he allegedly wrote, though the tweet seems to have been deleted.

An artist's laptop being stolen is critical, because usually, a lot of unreleased music is stored on it. Some believe the thieves recently leaked Ye's song "Awesome."

Despite the report, a rep at Def Jam denied the claims.

"The stories circulating that Kanye West's laptop has been stolen are completely false," the rep said in a statement. "His laptop has never been out of his possession. Hence, the laptop has not been hacked, and there has been no leak of personal data such as unreleased music, photographs, designs, videos or any other personal files. The leak today of the unreleased track 'Awesome' was unrelated and completely coincidental."
