Iggy Azalea

Iggy Azalea fans will have to wait a little longer to see her live, as the rap star postpones her “Great Escape Tour” until the fall.

In a statement to Billboard, her label Def Jam said the North American trek has been rescheduled “due to tour production delays.”

Previous reports said the tour was nearly cancelled due to lack of promotion and conflict behind the scenes. However, Def Jam claims that it was done “to accommodate for creative team availability and tour productions.”

“It’s important to Iggy that she delivers the show she envisaged to share with her fans and that requires more time in development,” the label told Billboard.

Iggy released a statement via Twitter, promising her fans that the delay would only make for a better tour.
