The Raiders aren’t moving to Los Angeles. At least, not for the 2015 NFL season.
According to NBC Bay Area, the Joint Powers Authority in Oakland has approved a one-year lease that will allow the Raiders to play at O.Co Coliseum for one more year.
The window for submitting a relocation application has come and gone, so tthe Raiders actually had no other choice. However, that leaves questions for 2016.
The Chargers and Raiders announced in February that they were collaborating on a new stadium they would share in Carson, California.
Both teams, alongside the Rams, hope to be among the two teams that end up back in the Los Angeles area.
