Arguably the biggest fight in boxing history is coming on May 2nd, as Floyd Mayweather takes on Manny Pacquiao.
Now, the debate rages on about who will win, with people from all walks of life weighing in. This week, one of the sport’s greatest fighters, Mike Tyson, offers his opinion on the superfight.
“When you think about the two fighters, and the people who gave Pacquiao the most difficult time of his career were only the people that threw over 100 punches a round — [Timothy Bradley] and [Juan Manuel Marquez],” Mike explains. “Floyd doesn’t throw no where near 100 punches a round. He’s more of a scientific fighter. He pops a lot and he sits around and poses. [Manny Pacquiao] is all over, fading, moving. That’s just my opinion. I don’t think [Mayweather] is gonna be able to play that pop, pop… [Pacquiao] is like perpetual motion, he’s all over the place.
“Floyd has got to fight the first couple rounds. He’s got to fight. He’s gonna lose the rounds if he lays back. You gotta come out punching,” he concluded.
There you have it. Mike Tyson is taking Manny Pacquiao. Who do you got?
