50 Cent previously said Floyd Mayweather was “scared to death” of Manny Pacquiao, but he’s still betting on the undefeated boxing superstar to win.
During an interview with The Breakfast Club this week, the hip-hop mogul revealed that he’s putting down a $1.6 million bet on Mayweather to win.
“I got champ. Champ gon’ smoke ’em,” 50 said. “It’s gonna look like it was pumped up for no reason. He focused right now. He gotta come right.”
Fif later revealed that he and Mayweather ran into each other recently, and spoke for the first time in a long time.
“I ran into him at the Barclays Center. I popped up on Chris [Brown’s] show, and they came backstage to talk,” he said. “He ain’t gotta answer to nobody. That fight is probably gonna be $80 or $100 million dollars for him… There ain’t gotta be anything that we speak to each other about. But, when you there face-to-face, he be like, ‘What you gotta say this? When you say something, it goes everywhere. Everywhere. CNN, man.’ He’s like, ‘Stop, man.’ So, he took my number and Facetime. We both get angrier when we’re not speaking to each other.”
Mayweather-Pacquiao is set to go down on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Vaccaro’s South Point sports book favors Mayweather at -200, while Pacquiao stands at -170.
