After passing Allen Iverson’s points mark over the weekend, LeBron James hit another mark on Tuesday (Feb. 24), when he became the most prolific passing forward in league history.

The NBA star passed Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen for the most career assists by an NBA forward, en route to the Cavs’ victory over the Detroit Pistons.

James finished the evening with 11 assists to reach 6,143 career assists, topping Pippen’s mark of 6,135.

LeBron has averaged of 6.9 assists per game during his 12-year career, while Pippen averaged 5.2 assists per game in his 17 seasons with Chicago, Portland and Houston.
