The Boston Celtics have had almost as bad a year as the Lakers, but the Los Angeles team was ecstatic Sunday night (Feb. 22) when they defeated their East Coast rivals, 118-111, in overtime… without star Kobe Bryant.
Kobe is, obviously, out for the season, as he recovers from injury. So, the young Lakers squad has been on their own… and haven’t fared well, racking up an eight-game losing streak, which they finally snapped against Boston.
After the game, the young players — including Nick Young, Jordan Hill and Jeremy Lin — celebrated, and apparently, Kobe wasn’t very amused by it. After all, the team has one of the worst records in the league this season, 14-41.
Kobe was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, during which he was showed a silly post-game interview where his teammates were celebrating.
Kobe didn’t even crack a smile. His lack of a response says it all. Oh, and his death stare.
