Big Sean stopped by The Breakfast Club this week, in support of his newly released album Dark Sky Paradise.
During the interview, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper talks about the content of the album and his evolution, why he feels like one of the best rappers in the game and Lil Wayne giving him props, and even, his decision to skip college for rap… but had to be patient to do so.
“I was frustrated when I graduated high school. I knew what I wanted to do, I wanted to get to this music. I wanted to be a rapper,” Sean explained. “I graduated with a 3.7 and I was on my way to Michigan state, but I didn’t go. I had just rapped for [Kanye West] and the deal was supposed to be in the works, but it took a couple years. So, for those couple of years, I was going craziness. I was staying in the same crib I grew up in, obviously at my mom’s house… in the same room I grew up in. It gets frustrating.”
Later, Sean talks about his relationship with Ariana Grande, if his ex Naya Rivera stinks, and much more.
