Drake will reportedly have a huge first week on Billboard, following the surprise release of his mixtape/album on iTunes Thursday night (Feb. 12).
According to Billboard, the 17-track project, entitled If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, will top the Top 200 albums chart next week with projected sales of 400,000. Not bad for a mixtape, huh?
The release features guest appearances from Lil Wayne, PARTYNEXTDOOR, and Travi$ Scott.
HITS Daily Double reports potential sales of 500,000.
If Drake does reach those numbers, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late would be the largest sales week for a rap album since Eminem’s 2013 album, The Marshall Mathers LP 2, debuted at #1 with 792,000 sold.
