Nike and Adidas continue their competition, as the Swoosh preps the release a new app to help customers reserve sneakers on the heels of Adidas’ CONFIRMED App, which launched in anticipation of Kanye West’s Yeezy 750 Boost.
Nike introduces SNKRS, a one-stop sneaker shop that grants mobile access to the brand’s most premium sneakers, from Air Force 1’s to Air Maxes to Jordan releases.
It will offer an array of customization and personalization options, release date notifications, and the ability to purchases shoes with the tap of a button.
Nike SNKRS is slated to launch this spring for iOS, following by a release for Android. However, beginning Thursday (Feb. 12), advance access will be available to a limited number of consumers in the U.S.

Zoom City SNKRS Station: Consumers in New York City Feb.12-15 can register for access to the Zoom City SNKRS Station at the corner of 348 Bowery and Great Jones to get SNKRS installed on an iOS device. Please visit Nike.com/NYC for more information and details.
