Fit, feel and transition. These were the three areas adidas seeked to elevate in their newest BOOST model through the shoe’s featured Primeknit upper and newly invigorated Ultra BOOST sole. We were recently given a pair to try on and put to test ahead of its official February release, click here for more info.

The adidas Ultra Boost is highlighted by its newly designed Ultra BOOST sole, comprising of 3,000 energy returning foam capsules. The aforementioned Ultra BOOST sole is clinically-proven to help reduce oxygen consumption during workouts (1-1.2%), as cited in a recent University of Calgary study. Additionally, the Stretch Web outsole put us closer to the BOOST cushioning, allowing us to feel a significant bounce with every push off the track.
