Taiwanese commercial flight crashed in Taipei

A Taiwanese commercial flight crashed in Taipei, Taiwan on Wednesday morning (Feb. 4), after clipping a bridge shortly after takeoff.

According to reports, Flight 235 had 58 people aboard the plane when it crashed into a a river. Shortly after takeoff, it banked sharply on its side shortly, clipped a highway bridge and then careened into the Keelung River.

Rescuers pulled 15 people alive from the wreckage during daylight.
