This past January had the opportunity to stay at The Mondrian SoHo in New York City’s posh Manhattan borough. The 4-star French-inspired resort, situated in one of New York’s priciest neighborhoods, certainly lives up to its acclaim. From fine dining at the Isola Trattoria & Crudo Bar, toiletries from Malin + Goetz, to a truly picturesque view, the classy 263 room hotel designed by Benjamin Noriega Ortiz proves New York can be cozy too.

Lodging & Accomodations
We stayed in the hotel’s “Deluxe Room” that served as our quaint nightly-retreat from the city. While small, at 240 sq. ft. room was the epitome of coziness. Adding to the building’s charm, every room features a 10-ft floor-to-ceiling window offering breathtaking views of the city. Needless to say, the room was stocked with all of the luxury accommodations you would expect: marble countertops throughout, luxury toiletries from Malin + Goetz, room and maid service, gorgeous views, and even Voss water for those willing to pay a small fee.

Additionally, The Mondrian SoHo encompasses a number of enjoyable amenities, from restaurants to a 24-hour gym space. Our favorite accommodation was the second-floor outdoor patio, situated between neighboring buildings, it suffices as a calming place to take off one’s shoes and read a book.

A stay similar to ours will cost you around $314 per night, not including applicable state and city taxes. You can schedule accommodations for your next visit here.
