Jodeci Planning Return After 18-Year Hiatus

Legendary R&B group, Jodeci, announces their return this week after an 18-year hiatus.

The group -- consisting of K-Ci, DeVante Swing, JoJo and Mr. Dalvin -- offered a sneak peek at their latest record, "Nobody Wins", during a performance at the Soul Train Awards last month... performing a snippet as part of a medley of their most popular hit songs.

Now, Jodeci follows the Soul Train Awards appearance with a lyric video for "Nobody Wins," which features an anti-domestic violence message.

According to the group, they've been recording together in the past two decades, but never felt a cohesive creative direction until now. "We've recorded hundreds of songs, even if it's bits and pieces and fragments of songs that we could probably live off of for the rest of our lives," Dalvin explained Rolling Stone. "But when creating this album, we chose a body of work that really represents us as a group and represents what people are expecting to hear from Jodeci as a group. People will be pleasantly surprised."

Jodeci is currently putting the finishing touches are their upcoming reunion album -- the first since 1995's The Show, The After Party, The Hotel -- and plan to drop it in the first quarter of 2015.
