YG On Grammys Snub: “I Really Feel Some Type Of Way”

According to Compton rappers Game and YG, the Grammy Awards are rigged... because they don't like gangster rappers.

During an interview with Power 106 Los Angeles, YG expressed is disappointment that he didn't get nominated, despite his My Krazy Life album debuting at #1 on Billboard.

"I already knew I wasn't gonna win a Grammy. They not gonna give me a Grammy," he explained. "They gonna nominate me for sure. But, when I seen some of them albums on there, I ain't really get it. I really feel some type of way. I know it got something to do with me being from the streets and representing what I represent, and talking about what I talk about on these records.

"I feel like the Grammy people gotta know, I'm really out here," YG added. "I'm the people's champ. The people really rocking with me."

YG's My Krazy Life has been hailed as one of the best rap albums of 2014 by many critics within the culture. The Grammys, however, nominated Iggy Azalea, Childish Gambino, Common, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa and ScHoolboy Q, instead of YG.

The Game also chimed in about the same issue, telling TMZ that the Grammys "don't respect our culture or our music. Unless we cross over, we ain't winning sh*t.

"We can't even get police convicted of coldblooded murder, so we definitely ain't winning no f*cking Grammy."
