Los Angeles-bred electro hip-hop group, the Far East Movement, announced recently a partnership with long running streetwear label X-Large on a collaborative brand, dubbed EASTXL.
For the upcoming line, the group tapped artist USUGROW to help blend the L,A. street culture with eastern style calligraphy.
Further details, aside from the image above, are unknown at press time. However, EASTXL will premiere on December 20 at the X-Large Tokyo store, and will also be available online in both Japan and the U.S.
“X-Large had always repped L.A. culture, and the bridge with the Beastie Boys and Tokyo made it a movement we wanted to be a part of,” said FM member Kev Nish. “We brought in artist USUGROW whose work perfectly portrays our vision as the identify of the movement between LA and East.”
