Big Sean stopped by Power 105’s The Breakfast Club on Wednesday (Dec. 17), where he discussed relationships, music and his upcoming album.
During the interview, the G.O.O.D. Music addressed the perception that his DJ Mustard-produced anthem, “I Don’t F*ck You”, was about his ex-fiance Naya Rivera. Despite the lyrics, he says the song was written before he broke up with Rivera.
“I vividly remember playing it for that person,” Sean said of her ex. “It wasn’t no diss song.”
Sean also defended his pop diva girlfriend, Ariana Grande, regarding recent rumors that she’s a diva and demands to be carried everywhere she goes. “That’s ridiculous. I’ma dead that right now. That’s not even true,” he said.
As for his upcoming album, Sean says he promises is “coming soon,” and will feature Kanye West and Chris Brown.
“It’s kinda just a time capsule of my whole life in the last year, so you can just imagine all the things I’ve been through,” said Sean.
