In celebration of the one-year anniversary of her Grammy-nominated visual album, Beyoncé rolls out a retrospective short film, entitled Yours and Mine. In the black-and-white visuals, the pop star reflects on her life, dreams, love and the burdens of fame.

“I think [privacy] is the hardest thing to give up, but my mother always taught me to be strong and to never be a victim,” Beyonce explains while looking in the mirror.

On fame, she talks about the cons, saying: “When you’re famous, no one looks at you as a human anymore. You become the property of the public.”

Beyonce also touches on her relationship with Jay Z:: “I’ve always been very, very specific and very choosy — very choosy — about what I do with my body and who I want to share that with.”

And also talks her keys to happiness, saying it “comes from you. No one else can make you happy. One thing that’s for sure, the love I have for music, for my husband, for my child, is something that will last far beyond my life.”
