The Golden State Warriors extended their franchise-best winning streak to 14 games on Wednesday night (Dec. 10) with a 105-93 win over the Houston Rockets.
The team also improved its NBA-leading record to 19-2, helping coach Steve Kerr make history, becoming the first rookie coach to win 19 of his first 21 games. “It means I’m the luckiest coach in NBA history,” Kerr said after the game, according to ESPN. “Because I inherited a team that was already really good.”
Klay Thompson scored 21 points during the game, while Stephen Curry added 20 points, seven assists and seven rebounds lead his team to a win.
