Another woman has come forward with a story about Bill Cosby. This time, veteran model Beverly Johnson claims the comedian drugged her in his home three decades ago.
The 62-year-old penned a first person account of the incident for Vanity Fair, in which she claims Cosby contacted her to audition for a role on The Cosby Show in the mid-1980s. She says he invited her to his New York City home twice to audition — the first time there were others there, but the second she was alone with him.
Johnson said they ate a light dinner and when audition time came, she says Cosby wanted to see her to pretend she was drunk. While preparing, she claims he offered her a cappuccino and was overly insistent that she drink it. As explained in her letter, “I knew by the second sip of the drink Cosby had given me that I’d been drugged — and drugged good.”
The model says she became “woozy,” her speech was slurred and “the room began to spin nonstop.” However, she managed to get herself together enough to start screaming at him, repeatedly calling him a “motherf*cker.” Eventually, she said Cosby grabbed her by the arm, kicked her out of his home and put her into cab, where she had no recollection of how she got home.
Johnson says she kept the story quiet for years because she thought it was something that only happened to her, but she decided to come forward because of all the accusations.
